JS Advanced Counterpoint and Fugue

Weekly Work

Submit by 09:00 Friday, either hand written via the music department office, or on Noteflight with a ‘ready for marking’ email quoting your eight-digit ID number.

Assessment

Four coursework assessments in 1. three-voice counterpoint in the first species, 2. three-voice counterpoint in the other species, 3. three-voice fugue with five entries, and 4. extended three-voice fugue with middle section and optional stretto (25% each).

Submission: 09:00 Friday weeks 4, 8, 12, 14.
