Assessment

1. A class test on notation (10%)

2. A transcription and/or reconstruction of an approved unpublished composition or group of compositions, to be accompanied by a commentary of at least 1,000 words (90%). Shorter items will be approved if reconstruction is required, longer works if it is not. Due by noon on Monday of week 1, Hilary term.
